Next to that, although we are not against new technologies, we believe in employing traditional skills, handmaking at an ultra-high level. Finally, it's about attention to detail. Look closely at a piece of jewellery we've made and you'll notice the tiny details that set it apart and make it entirely different from another piece. For over 80 years, Abhipriya's jewellery has been handcrafted in Mumbai by a team of highly skilled artisans from Bengal. The best diamonds in the world deserve the best craftsmanship in the world.
SOURCING
Abhipriya Jewellers is committed to obtaining precious metals and gemstones and crafting our jewellery in ways that are socially and environmentally responsible. We proudly have a zero-tolerance policy toward diamonds or gemstones sourced from conflict regions.
DESIGN
Every Abhipriya Jewellers design begins with the diamond, it is the inspiration for all our creations. A sketch is done by hand in meticulous detail. This allows the designer to convey to the craftsmen the fluidity and overall harmony of the design that brings out the collective beauty of both the setting and the stone.
SETTING
Performed in close collaboration with our designers, gem-setting is practised as an art. The diamonds are selected with precision to fit within the created setting. The finesse of gem-setting and the refinement of polishing create pieces with unique character and perfect finishes. Once the gem-setter’s painstaking work has been finished, each gemstone is individually checked.
